Terms of Service
Welcome to SubManager. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SubManager mobile application ("App", "Service", or "SubManager") for iOS devices. By downloading, installing, or using SubManager, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using SubManager, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and SubManager ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms apply to all users of the App.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Service
SubManager is a subscription management tool designed for iOS devices that helps you:
- Track and organize your app subscriptions and recurring services
- Receive notifications about upcoming renewal dates
- Calculate and monitor your subscription expenses
- Access quick links to manage or cancel subscriptions
- Sync data across your devices via iCloud (optional)
SubManager is a productivity tool and does not directly process payments, manage subscriptions, or interact with subscription services on your behalf.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use SubManager. By using the App, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 13 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- You will use the App in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws
- All information you provide is accurate and current
4. User Responsibilities
4.1 Account and Data
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the accuracy of subscription information you enter into the App
- Securing your iOS device and any associated passwords or authentication methods
- All activities that occur through your use of the App
- Backing up your data (if not using iCloud sync)
4.2 Acceptable Use
You agree to use SubManager only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices from the App
- Use the App to store illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the App
5. Intellectual Property Rights
5.1 Our Rights
SubManager and all its contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, code, text, displays, graphics, photographs, video, audio, design, presentation, selection, and arrangement) are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
5.2 Your Rights
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
5.3 Your Content
You retain all rights to the subscription data and information you enter into SubManager. We do not claim any ownership rights to your content. Your data remains yours, stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud account.
6. Third-Party Services
SubManager integrates with the following Apple services:
- App Store: For app distribution and updates
- iCloud: For optional data synchronization across your devices
- StoreKit: For deep linking to App Store subscription management pages
- Push Notification Service: For local notification reminders
Your use of these Apple services is subject to Apple's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for any third-party services or their practices.
SubManager may provide links to external subscription services for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or practices of any third-party websites or services.
7. Subscription and Payments
7.1 App Pricing
SubManager may be offered as a free app, a paid app, or with in-app purchases. Pricing information is displayed on the App Store before download.
7.2 Payment Processing
All payments for SubManager (if applicable) are processed through Apple's App Store. Your payment information is handled by Apple, not by us. Refer to Apple's Terms of Service for payment terms.
7.3 Refunds
Refund requests are subject to Apple's App Store refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.
Important Note
SubManager helps you track your subscriptions but does not manage or process payments for your external subscriptions. You remain responsible for managing and canceling your subscriptions directly with each service provider.
8. Data and Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Key privacy points:
- All subscription data is stored locally on your device
- Optional iCloud sync stores data in your personal iCloud account
- We do not collect, access, or share your subscription information
- We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers
9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
9.1 "As Is" Provision
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.
9.2 No Guarantee of Accuracy
While we strive to provide accurate and reliable functionality, we do not guarantee that:
- The App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or virus-free
- Notification reminders will be delivered on time or at all
- Cost calculations will be accurate (accuracy depends on data you enter)
- The App will meet all your requirements or expectations
9.3 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SUBMANAGER, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- Your use or inability to use the App
- Any unauthorized access to or use of your data
- Any bugs, viruses, or errors in the App
- Missed subscription renewals or unexpected charges from subscription services
- Loss of data or content
- Any other matter relating to the App
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS LESS.
9.4 User Responsibility
You acknowledge that SubManager is a tracking and reminder tool only. You remain solely responsible for:
- Managing and canceling your actual subscriptions with service providers
- Verifying renewal dates and costs with service providers
- Monitoring your credit card and bank statements
- Taking action to cancel unwanted subscriptions
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SubManager, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:
- Your use of or inability to use the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
11. Termination
11.1 Termination by You
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Your data will be removed from your device upon deletion.
11.2 Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, for any reason including:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- Discontinuation of the App
11.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
12.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SubManager is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12.2 Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved through:
- Informal Resolution: Contact us first to attempt to resolve the dispute informally
- Mediation: If informal resolution fails, the parties agree to attempt mediation
- Arbitration: If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration
12.3 Class Action Waiver
To the extent permitted by law, all disputes must be brought on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative proceeding.
13. Miscellaneous
13.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SubManager regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
13.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
13.3 Waiver
No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term, and our failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
13.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
13.5 Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or government actions.

15. Apple-Specific Terms
The following terms apply to your use of SubManager on iOS devices:
15.1 Acknowledgment
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and SubManager only, not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"), and Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
15.2 Scope of License
The license granted to you is limited to a non-transferable license to use the App on an Apple-branded product that you own or control and as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple App Store Terms of Service.
15.3 Maintenance and Support
SubManager is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support services for the App. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services.
15.4 Warranty
SubManager is solely responsible for any product warranties. In the event of failure to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
15.5 Product Claims
SubManager, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App or your possession and/or use of the App, including:
- Product liability claims
- Claims that the App fails to conform to any legal or regulatory requirement
- Claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation
15.6 Intellectual Property
In the event of any third-party claim that the App infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, SubManager, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
15.7 Third-Party Beneficiary
You acknowledge and agree that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

These Terms establish the rules for using SubManager. By using the App, you agree to these Terms. We provide SubManager as a subscription tracking tool, and you remain responsible for managing your actual subscriptions. We respect your privacy and do not collect your subscription data.
